Owner/Driver Stowers Racing and Repair

« Reply #30 on: November 26, 2009, 12:26:38 pm »

Try to focus boys this is a car forum. I know a guy that purchased the protective film and apllied it himself to his show car. He drove to and around hallett without any damage. Not the smartest guy (show car @ hallett). I'll get a contact if you all are interested.

Thought I would resurrect this one.  Have a car that need some fender coating to save it from rock damage.  Tried Jeff at the posted number.  Is he still the man, or are there other recommendations now.

Thanks in advance,
jerry

Thanks -- Talked to Jeff and he said he was not doing it now but a friend was.  He was going to have his friend call.  Haven't heard so I will give yours a try.

Thanks again,
jerry

Yeah Eric is the man he did a full clear wrap on my friends evo and he tinted my windows. I have a lifetime warranty on my tint.

I hear ya Chris, I fall for this damn thread everytime!  Looks like there might be some good info in here though even if there aren't any pics.

Thanks Julie,
Had my 66 Cobra done last week.  He did it making templates on the fly.  Came out great and is very inconspicuous.  Eric says that he owes you big time for the number of clients you have sent him.
Thanks again jerry

2012 Audi A6

I can't decide if I want to do this or not for the A6. I'd hate to chip up the front clip, but I'm not sure a clear bra is really going to last over the years. I've read mixed reviews, yes I recall the number of chips the Subaru got over only four years.

I'd highly recommend it, Chris.

Wrap the whole car, if you can.

The owner of DW's new CTS-V has a matte film on it, and it looks great!

I never get tired of clear bras!  I took my Julie's new car in to have the windows tinted on her new car by JP at Auto Distinctions.  He's the only guy I've ever used for tinting and have been very pleased.  I took a look at the cars he was doing at the time (both getting paint protectant/clear bras) and decided to do the front end paint protectant at the same time.  It had less than 70 miles on it so that was the best time.  I'm very please with both the tint and clear bra.
