I am setting up a practice rally for anyone to run at most anytime.  Dr. Bob will be assisting.  We hope to have a download of the instructions available soon.  There are five legs with the third leg as an option as it has about a mile of gravel.  The all paved four leg route is under 40 miles, while all five legs are just under 50 miles.  The starts and finishes as well as the official mileages and the perfect times are shown in the instructions so those that run the route can concentrate on the course and worry about the timing.  The rally starts and finishes at the WAL-MART in Sapulpa.  I ran the route Monday and Wednesday and the route took the rain well.

I will have the instructions at the Miata meeting at UNCLE BUCK'S in the BASS PRO SHOP at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16th.   I will also bring them to the APRIL NEOKLA meeting.

There is an ODOMETER RUN of 9.44 miles so you can compare your ODOMETER measurements to mine.   It is run on the way to the first Leg.   This mileage has been included in the overall mileages.

The perfect times are shown so that the rally teams do NOT have to worry about calculating.   They can calculate if they wish, as practice.

The mileages are shown to help the rally teams find the instructions.

I have decided NOT to make the instructions available for download.   There were a number of questions asked at the Miata meeting by those requesting instructions that needed to be answered in person.   Those questions led to more questions and more explanation.  I feel that it would be better and safer to have someone go out on the route with as much knowledge as possible.   Anyone wanting instructions can get them at the April NEOKLA meeting OR send me a message through GREEN COUNTRY MOTORSPORTS.

I was hoping to get a group together to run the practice rally on Sunday, June 26.  There was little interest shown at the meetings that I went to.  Therefore, it will not happen.  I think with so many other things going on that most folks wanted a breather from their driving schedule or to avoid the heat.  No problem!!!  I do hope that those that took the setup and instructions will take advantage of it in the near future.   BEST WISHES to all!!!
